JAN 21ST - FEB 17TH
Rowan is known for its protective qualities. They say that when Rowan speaks to you, you must take heed.
It was considered one of the most important plants of British folklore magic + grows all over the British Isles.
Folklore says that the Rowan tree is the home of the light elves, + that when the Goddess Hebe lost her Chalice, an eagle fought to find it + return it to her. Myth says that wherever this eagle dropped a feather or a drop of blood, a Rowan tree grew.
Rowen is still used for protection spells to this day. It’s message is to take steps to strengthen your protective boundaries to keep you hidden from the Evil Eye.
Each month a group of Tree lovers gather online to explore the energies of Rowan and its interconnected symbolism.
Rowan is a magical tree which reminds us of the beauty of life.
