ABOUT ME

Hi, and welcome to SOL.

I'm Poppy Sophia Ridley - an energy medicine therapist, healer, mystic, and teacher of the subtle healing arts.

Originally from London, I now live on the lands of the Wurundjeri people in Melbourne, Australia, where I offer sessions, mentorship, and energy medicine trainings.

HOW IT BEGAN

My journey began in London in 2013, at a Reiki Level 1 training that changed the entire course of my life.

A fire lit in my belly. I began practising daily, offering my hands to anyone open to receiving them. I fell in love with the energy - its intelligence, its precision - and felt an undeniable call to share it with anyone ready to transform.

Reiki led me to people and experiences that changed me forever. In my sessions, I witnessed the release of physical pain, the removal of entities that had lived in my clients for years, fertility and pregnancy magic (so many Reiki babies), and - most powerfully - the birth of other healers, touched as deeply by this medicine as I was.

I opened my first clinic in a spare room of my house, and welcomed people from every walk of life.

Eventually, I began to teach — weaving ceremony into workshops that sold out the moment they opened. Reiki became the driving force behind community events, trainings, and 1:1 sessions that people flew across the country to experience.

Reiki was my gateway into an entirely new way of living. And yet, something in me knew there was more.

ENTER SEICHIM

Seichim found me in early 2019, right before the world stopped.

Its teachings unlocked something in me I hadn't touched before. Soon after, I was called back to Avalon, England - guided to the sacred waters and ancient land there, where I experienced an initiation that changed me at the root.

I spent the pandemic on pilgrimage across the UK, visiting sacred wells and holy places. The water changed me. The land midwifed me. And from that, School of Light was born.

WHERE I AM NOW

Today, I'm back in Melbourne, working mostly online - guiding others to meet the parts of themselves that energy medicine alone can reach.

The past 15 years have been a whirlwind of death and rebirth. I've had the privilege of devoting myself almost entirely to this craft, facilitating retreats, training programs, mentorship, and coaching for those making radical transformation in their lives.

My work is not for the faint-hearted. It's for those who believe in the power of creation, who are here to birth new timelines on this earth.
