Libra is the sign of balance, the sublimation of duality - ONENESS. The scales of Libra relate to the ancient myth of the Egyptian goddess Ma’at, who personified the concept of truth, balance, order, law, morality, and justice. Her role was in upholding the laws of the Creator. In the underworld she weighed the human heart against a feather to determine how well the person had lived their life. If the heart was too heavy, it had to reincarnate. If the heart was light, the soul would go to paradise.
The energy of Libra paired with the beautiful energies of Venus (teacher of beauty, creativity, fertility, & sensuality) we are reminded of the importance of inner & outer harmony in order to manifest healing & peace on earth.
