IMBOLC

Within the Druidic wheel of the year we follow the paths of the sun + the moon through the 12 signs of the zodiac. These 12 signs can be grouped into the 4 seasons - winter, spring, summer + autumn. Within these 4 seasons we celebrate 8 festivals or Holy days - the 4 solstices + equinox’s at the turn of the seasons + the four fire festivals at the centre: two interlocking cycles in one, the solar + the lunar. Imbolc aligns with the fixed sign of Aquarius, the water bearer + is the first fire ceremony of the year, a time to cleanse the home of old energy, shake up the sleeping light + welcome in the sweet scent of spring.

This Imbolc aligns with the powerful new moon in Aquarius - a time to wipe the slate clean + plant seeds for the future. It asks us to invite in the support of community + be more present in our lives.

BRIGID

Brigid is the keeper of Wells + also the Goddess of Fire. The most revered of the Celtic deities, Brigid is still felt, loved + honoured all over the world. She is the Patron of poetry, animals, babies, fertility + conception, healing, the hearth, the home + baby animals.

She brings within her fiery red locks the flames of transformation + balance as she weaves the meeting point between the water + the flame.

Working with the energies of Brigid can bring a lot of clarity around direction, new beginnings, planting seeds + other energy medicine.

During this 2 hour online ceremony we will celebrate the first fire ceremony of the year + tune in + explore the energetics of Imbolc, Brigid + the New Moon in Aquarius. We will meditate + journey to meet the Goddess, tune into our own inner realms + plant seeds for the coming spring.
